Residents filled George Simonian Alumni Field in June, not to watch a game, but to watch friends, siblings, sons, and daughters cross the stage to transition from 2011 Chelmsford High School Seniors to Alumni.

The graduating class comprised 387 seniors. Class President Michael Kelly called the event a "day of honor." Salutatorian Maximilian Maybury and Valedictorian Parthiv Patel addressed the crowd as the school's top scholars. The keynote speaker was former social studies teacher and principal Allen Thomas.
