Teenager Arrested on Nine Counts of Allegedly Recieving Stolen Property

The following information was supplied by the Chelmsford Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

 

 

The following are entries from the Chelmsford Police log for Aug. 20 and 21.

Additional information is available in certain cases from the Chelmsford Police Records Department for a nominal fee.

Any instances where streets are mentioned without addresses shall be placed on the map as occurring on the first address on that street for geographical convenience unless otherwise stated even though the incident may have happened somewhere else on the street.

Monday, Aug. 20

Arrests

-          Alexis Nunez, 22, of 147 Dalton St. in Lowell, was arrested on counts of alleged wanton destruction and defacing property at Stop and Shop on Chelmsford Street.

Other

12:29 p.m. – A dog was reportedly hit by a car on Boston Road, but it could not be found. Later that afternoon (1:08 p.m), a concerned citizen asked police for help with trying to rescue a dog near the corner of Old Westford Road and Westford Street, but the dog ran into the woods.

7:34 p.m. – One neighbor on Sheila Avenue was upset with the noise level at a nearby house, but the officer on the call couldn’t hear any loud noises when he got there.

Tuesday, Aug. 21

Arrests

-          A 17-year-old male living on Proctor Road was arrested on nine counts of alleged receieving stolen property over $250.

-          Joseph Lazarto, 35, of 6 Wiggin St., was arrested on charges of alleged open and gross lewd conduct and possession or dissemination of narcotics.

Other

10:00 a.m. – An individual reported to police that he believed he was the victim of identity theft. No further information was immediately available.

5:02 p.m. – Police were dispatched to a reported shoplifting incident on Parkhurst Road that involved a bb gun, although information on how the bb gun was involved in the incident was not immediately available.
