Stabbing at Gene's Chinese Flatbread Cafe

Eyewitnesses say man was slashed across throat and stomach.

At approximately 6:45 p.m., a man was stabbed just outside Gene’s Chinese Flatbread Café on Littleton Road.

Two men were reportedly drinking beers behind the restaurant and as they were leaving another individual approached. According to one of the men, this was a person who had harrassed him in the past and allegedly keyed his car only two days earlier.

At that point, the man began to exit his truck to confront the third person when he was slashed across the throat and stomach.

According to details from the friend, who would not release his name or the name of the two other individuals at this time, the assailant was running toward the woods near the restaurant by the time he could exit the passenger’s side door of their truck.

Inside the restaurant, Gene Wu had no idea that the incident had occurred until police entered his door.

“It was dinner time and it was very busy. I saw some police cars in the parking lot, but I thought it was just a traffic stop,” he said.

Police are not releasing the name of the victim or the assailant at this time, but are describing him as a bald male with khaki pants.
