Several Break-ins Reported in the Westlands

Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

 

The following are entries from the Chelmsford Police log for Sept. 17 and 18.

Additional information is available in certain cases from the Chelmsford Police Records Department for a nominal fee.

Any instances where streets are mentioned without addresses shall be placed on the map as occurring on the first address on that street for geographical convenience unless otherwise stated even though the incident may have happened somewhere else on the street.

Monday, Sept. 17

1:42 p.m. – Police helped with crowd control at Chelmsford High School.

Tuesday, Sept. 18

Arrests – Marvin Vielman, 26, 47 Barclay St. in Lowell, was arrested on alleged operation of a motor vehicle with a suspended license and operating a moped without being licensed.

12:03 p.m. – There was a reported larceny from a motor vehicle on Oak Knoll Avenue. Additional car break-ins were reported from residents in the Westlands on Steadman Street, Evergreen Street, Maple Avenue and Subway Avenue later in the evening and into the early hours of Wednesday.

7:07 p.m. – A minor crash near Stop and Shop on Chelmsford Street was investigated, no injuries were reported.

What are the police doing to try and solve these breakins ?? The same happened in my neighborhood a few months ago and it turned into a dead end.
