Saturday Arrests on Acton Road and Drum Hill

The following information was supplied by the Chelmsford Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

 

The following are entries from the Chelmsford Police log for Aug. 3,4 and 5.

Additional information is available in certain cases from the Chelmsford Police Records Department for a nominal fee.

Any instances where streets are mentioned without addresses shall be placed on the map as occurring on the first address on that street for geographical convenience unless otherwise stated even though the incident may have happened somewhere else on the street.

Friday, August 3

3:26 a.m. – Officers helped check for a dead deer downed near the intersection of Riverneck Road and McFarlin Road.

8:34 a.m. – A motor vehicle was vandalized on Warren Avenue.

4:35 p.m. – Two units were dispatched for a report of a grandmother and granddaughter arguing on Littleton Road.

10:23 p.m. – A manager of a business on Tyngsboro Road had an issue with an employee and called Chelmsford Police to help settle the dispute.

Saturday, August 4

4:04 p.m. – Maura Machold, 45, of 43 Acton Rd. in Chelmsford, was arrested during a domestic dispute on Acton Road.

According to the log, Machold and another individual alleged assault against each other, but no further information was immediately available.

Machold has been charged with alleged assault and battery.

7:30 p.m. – James Hannafin, 61, of 3 Belair Dr. in Chelmsford, was arrested during a motor vehicle stop on Drum Hill Road.

Hannafin was charged with alleged operation of a motor vehicle under the influence of liquor, reckless operation of a motor vehicle to endanger, possession of an open container of alcohol in a vehicle, and marked lane violations.
