They do make specialty Spanish breads/pastries.

Spanish and Mexican are two completely different cuisines. The only thing they have in common is that they come from Spanish-speaking cultures. If you are going to lump Spanish and Mexican together you might as well add in Argentine, Salvadorean, Puerto Rican, etc.

It makes it difficult to vote for "the best." Café Madrid is great, but if you are looking for Mexican, it won't meet your expectations.

There is definitely a lack of good Mexican in this area. I cannot pick any of the ones listed. And don't get a hard shell taco for take-out at Moe's & expect it to be hard or edible once home.

We love Cafe Madrid in Chelmsford -- and in Nashua, La Hacienda rocks out -- excellent healthy food and beautiful decor. They also make their own salsa, and it's awesome.
