Secretary of State William Galvin is expecting record turnout across the state for today's election, which in Chelmsford means choosing a new selectman, state senator, state representative, and new member of U.S. Congress.
Polling locations are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Those locations are:
Precinct 1 and 9: Town Hall Gym
Precinct 2 and 3: Harrington School Gym
Precinct 4 and 6 : Westlands School Gym
Precinct 5: Byam School
Precinct 7 and 8: McCarthy Middle School
Chelmsford residents will choose between Sandi Martinez, a Republican, and Susan Fargo, a Democrat, for state senate. Precincts 1 and 9 will also choose between Independent KC Winslow and Democrat Cory Atkins for state representative. Incumbent Niki Tsongas, a Democrat, and Jon Golnik, a Republican will square off for a seat in the U.S. Congress.
