Police Seek Man After Citizens Bank in Stop and Shop Robbed
This is the second time the bank inside Stop and Shop has been robbed.
Police are looking for a man who reportedly robbed Citizens Bank inside Stop and Shop on Chelmsford Street around 7 p.m. last night.
Police responded to the store after a teller hit the hold up alarm. Police said the man is described as white, 6' tall and was wearing a gray short sleeve shirt, blue or black carpenter’s jeans, dark sunglasses and a large checkered head wrap with possibly reddish hair and a short goatee. The man passed a note to a teller demanding money, police said.
The suspect left the bank with an undetermined amount of cash.
The man ran from the store where he entered a newer model vehicle, police said, possibly a Nissan Altima or similar, gray or gold.
