Police Pursue Alleged OUI Driver Down North Road After Hit-and-Run

10:35 a.m. - A male shoplifter escaped from Chelmsford Street.
Friday, Jan. 25
Arrests
- Kayla Cronin, 23, of 2 School Ln. in Westford and Kaitlin Walsh, 24, of 42 Birch Rd. in Westford were arrested on charges of was arrested together on charges of alleged shoplifting.
- Kevin Prescott, 18, of 27 Stevens St. in Dracut and Dequawn Tuff, 18, of 28 Florence Ave. in Lowell were arrested together on charges of alleged shoplifting.
7:31 p.m. - Police pursued a hit and run driver down North Road, catching up to them at the corner of North and Parkhurst roads.
The driver, Dermid Reardon, 65, of 270 Cumberland Rd. in Lowell, was arrested on charges of leaving the scene after alleged property damage, operation of a motor vehicle with intent to endanger, marked lane violations, and operation of a motor vehicle under the influence of liquor (second offense).
