Police Investigate Alleged Christmas Eve Hit-and-Run on Child

Monday, Dec. 24

2:20 p.m. - Police investigated the area of Parkhurst Road after reports that an individual hit a child with his car.

2:35 p.m. - There were reports of a fight in a parking lot on Acton Road.

2:41 p.m. - An individual on Boston Road reported to police that "the missing package has been delivered."

9:07 p.m. - Gunfire was reported on Lantern Lane, it turned out to be fireworks.

10:43 p.m. - An individual illegally dropped off a television set in the middle of Jerridge Lane, but could not be found.

Wednesday, Dec. 26

Arrests

  • Ryan McCluskey, 25, of 56 Martin St. in Lowell was arrested on charges of alleged operation of a motor vehicle with a suspended license.

Other

10:56 p.m. - A motor vehicle was discovered to have veered off the road on Riverneck Road.
