UPDATE: Police Charge Chelmsford Man in Connection with Littleton Road Stabbing

A man has been arrested and will be arraigned tomorrow.

 

Police have arrested a man in connection with last night's stabbing on Littleton Road.

Larry J. Landry, 41, of 235 Littleton Road, Chelmsford, was arrested in Lowell and charged with armed assault with intent to murder, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, and assault and battery on a disabled or elderly person.

The Middlesex County District Attorney's office said Landry will be arraigned in Lowell District Court tomorrow.

Stephanie Guyotte, a spokeswoman for the Middlesex County District Attorney's office, said the condition of the victim has been upgraded to stable. He is currently at Tufts Medical Center, but his name has not been released.

Not that it makes it better, but it's possible that's just citing the victim's age of 61..
