Police Assist U.S. Marshals with Fugitive Arrest

Tuesday, March 13

  • At 10:55 a.m., a Tyngsboro man was arrested on Chelmsford Street and Route 495. William Thomas O'Sullivan, 49, of 35 Davis St., was arrested on a warrant.
  • At 11:19 a.m., police responded to Rainbow Avenue at North Road for a report of a woman walking in the street.
  • At 11:39 a.m., police assisted U.S. Marshals with an arrest. Jason Chapman, 31, of 171 Wellman Ave., was charged with being a fugitive from justice.
  • At 11:41 a.m., police responded to Glen Avenue for a reported past break-in at a building.
  • At 1:28 p.m., police responded to Chelmsford Street for a report of two female shoplifters. 
  • At 3:15 p.m., a Kensington Drive resident reported a car break-in. 
  • At 7:16 p.m., a Wellman Avenue resident reported a bicycle stolen.
  • At 8:09 p.m., police responded to Berkshire Road for a possible domestic incident. James F. Cunningham, 46, of 14 Depot S., was charged with assault and battery. 
  • At 8:37 p.m., police responded to Glen Avenue for a report of a kitchen fire.
