Patch Collecting Items for Troops Overseas
Helps us by donating items in our collection box at the Chelmsford Public Library.
As part of our Give 5 Program in which Patch employees perform service projects and volunteer, Patch is collecting items for care packages for troops overseas - and we need your help.
The following items have been requested:
Toothpaste
Travel toothbrushes
AA-batteries
Bar Soap
Charmin or other soft toilet paper
Peanuts
Coffee (Dunkin Donuts or Starbucks is always welcome, but any kind)
Power Bars of some sort
Any other "fun items" or tastes of home you can think of - gently used books or recent magazines, food that's non-perishable, postcards/photos of home, etc.
Anyone wishing to donate should set up a time and place to meet Patch editor Krista Perry. E-mail her at krista@patch.com.
Thank you for helping us help those overseas serving our country.

Love this! I will be sure to stop by and add to the donation items this week!! Also, cards with simple thanks and drawings by kids were a HUGE hit with my husbands unit! I hope this is a huge success. :) <3
