Groups From New Hampshire and New Jersey Raise Money for Bauman

Independent groups continue to help with the Chelmsford resident and Boston Marathon victim's expenses.

While folks at home have been eager to help local resident and Boston Marathon hero Jeff Bauman, support has been coming in from locations far and wide.


Just over the border, Tulley Motors in Nashua held a fundraiser on Saturday, and other efforts have sprung up since the bombing, including the and a fundraiser later this month by Bauman's relatives in New Jersey.

While Bauman will receive money from the One Fund, the nation effort raising money for victims of the Boston Marathon Bombings, Bauman’s share probably won’t be enough to pay the enormous healthcare costs he is facing.

As of Monday, the Bucks for Bauman fundraising page had reached approximately $750,000 of its $1 million goal.
