Naked Man on Dalton Road Heading to Court

The following are entries from the Chelmsford Police log for Aug. 14, 15 and 16.

Tuesday, Aug. 14
8:37 a.m. - A stolen license plate was sighted on Cross Street. Police reports indicate that the plate was stolen from a vehicle in a driveway, but no further information was available.
9:27 a.m. - A woman entered the Police Station regarding ownership of a dog she and her ex-boyfriend once shared.
Apparently the ex-boyfriend had attempted to call their vet to change contact and ownership info for the dog.
The woman had contacted police a day earlier over the same matter.
12:59 p.m. - Travis Russell, 27, of Pawtucket Boulevard in Lowell, was arrested during a motor vehicle stop near the Drum Hill Rotary on North Road.
Russell has been charged with alleged operation of a motor vehicle with a suspended license and a red light violation.
6:01 p.m. - Police received reports of a nude man in the doorway of a red brick house on Dalton Road.
The man received a citation to appear in Lowell District Court for indecent exposure, but no further information was provided.
Wednesday, Aug. 15
9:31 a.m. - A telephone pole was reported as "leaning" on Swain Road, but apparently this was due to a weather incident, and Verizon already had crews on the scene.
9:21 p.m. - Officers were dispatched to Brick Kiln Road for a report of juveniles smoking.
The juveniles were not seen smoking by the officers on the call, but they were dispersed and the fire department put the fire out.
Thursday, Aug. 16
2:24 p.m. - Jordan Pang, 25, of Marshal Street in Lowell, was arrested following a motor vehicle accident on Drum Hill Road.
Pang has been charged with alleged failure to stay within marked lanes and operating a motor vehicle without a license.
Total damages of the accident are estimated under $1,000.
8:51 p.m. - Jonathan James Smith, 20, of Westford Street in Lowell, was arrested on Parkhurst Road.
Smith has been charged with alleged shoplifting of property worth under $250.
