To Precinct 9 Friends and Neighbors,

I am Susan Graves and I live at 17 Clarissa Rd.  I’ve been your Town Meeting Representative since the late 90’s and am running for re-election.  I’ve lived in Chelmsford for 24 years, which I know makes me a blow-in but it does mean I’ve lived here longer than anywhere else including the town where I grew up.  We’ve raised our 2 daughters here and if all goes according to plan, I will retire here.  We may have moved to Chelmsford by luck of the draw (which included careful research) but it’s the people that have kept us here.  My kids were able to grow up in a neighborhood where everyone helped each other.  I’ve made wonderful friends and gotten to know so many amazing people.  People are the heart of this town!  Over the years, as a town, we’ve had our issues but we’ve gotten through them and each time it’s increased my bond to Chelmsford. 

As your town meeting representative I have never missed a Town Meeting or Pre-town Meeting.  I have always researched the issues and visited sites when needed.  I have looked forward to and been responsive to your emails and calls to discuss any issue.  I want your input before every vote.  I take every vote seriously and I hope I have represented you well.
