It was a fun Sunday afternoon of hiking through snow, roasted marshmallows, and s'mores for the almost 50 people who attended the Chelmsford Land Conservation Trust's Winter Nature Walk at Archer Meadowbrook Reservation on Fenwick Drive as part of Winterfest.
After trudging through a sometimes deep snowy trail, the group enjoyed roasted marshallows and s'mores at Skunk Island, a glacially-shaped hill historically used by skunk trappers during the town's past as a rural community.
