Hunt Road Man Accused of Alleged Assault With Intent to Murder

The following are entries from the Chelmsford Police log for Sept. 19 and 20.

Wednesday, Sept. 19

Arrests -

  • Lisa Conley, 43 of 58 Parker Ave. in Dracut was arrested on charges of alleged larceny of property over $250.
  • Edward Jones, 38, of 150 Hunt Rd. was arrested for alleged assault and battery with a deadly weapon, alleged assault with intent to murder and a separate count of assault and battery.

Other

8:42 a.m. - Two patrolmen investigated stolen golf clubs on Chelmsford Street.

9:29 a.m. - Officers checked into the well being of a woman found lacking clothing on Subway Avenue.

3:38 p.m. - Police were sent out to a home on Chelmsford Street for an unwanted solicitor described as a lawyer that came to the door.

 

Thursday, Sept. 20

Arrests -

  • John Howard Higgins, 25, of 9 Cross St. was arrested on charges stemming from a previous warrant after he was allegedly found in possession of illegal drugs in an uninsured motor vehicle on Drum Hill Road.
  • Miguel Antonio Martinez, 30, of 193 Middlesex St. in Lowell was arrested for alleged impersonation of a police officer and illegal possession of ammunition.

1:13 a.m. - The Highway Department was notified to clear a dead deer from Boston Road.
