Monday, Oct. 15

Arrests

• Lorraine Garthe, 45, of 13B Warren Ave. was arrested on charges of alleged shoplifting, in addition to several outstanding warrants for alleged check larceny, check forgery and operating a motor vehicle on a suspended license.
• Tu Ngoc Ngyuen, 60, of 4 Rosemary Ln. was arrested on charges of alleged operation of a motor vehicle under the influence of liquor. This is his third OUI arrest.

Other

1:48 a.m. - Police checked the area of Gelding Road for a machine that was making a howling noise.

2:15 p.m. - A dispute erupted near Thai Jasmine after a cab driver reported his passenger would not pay the fare.

Tuesday, Oct. 16

Arrests

• Heriberto Santiago, 30, hailing from Lowell, but currently without an address, was arrested on charges of alleged shoplifting and reception of stolen property over $250.
• Shaun Suprey, 23, of 10 Meridan Way in Billerica was arrested on charges of alleged operation of a motor vehicle under the influence of liquor, failure to stop for a police officer, and speeding.

Other

8:25 a.m. - A theft was reported from inside a motor vehicle on Stedman Street, followed shortly afterward by another theft report on Hilltop Trail.

10:35 p.m. - Police were required to intervene for an intoxicated couple arguing with each other on Dunstan Road.
