Five Things for Today in Chelmsford: Sept. 7
From Vinal Square to Kate's Corner, here are your Five Things for today in Chelmsford.
#1. This Weekend at Weston Nurseries: It's container time.
#2. There's a Cootie Party... next Thursday at the Senior Center.
#3. Pictured: Check our Carmen Christiano's picture of the newly renovated North Town Hall!
He put it in the Pics and Clips section, and you're welcome to share your pictures there too! If you do, we'll try to put them here in Five Things!
#4. Meanwhile, in the Other Chelmsford: Police are investigating a murder, a computer technician is going to jail after pawning laptops owned by a special needs school, and there might be a new 90 room hotel.
#5. It's Not to Late to Help the Tallent Family: The raffle at the Radisson on Sept. 22 is looking for Boston related sports items, e-mail kde1741@aol.com for more information.

Hi Andrew. Thanks for featuring my new North Town Hall image in the Patch today. I think it's a great idea for you to encourage others to submit thier own images in the Pics & Clicks section of the Patch...and then you can choose some of those images to feature in your future editions of the Patch.

Might want to double-check that story on the computers. It's for Chelmsford, England (the fact that all of the amounts in the article are in pounds, not dollars, is a good tipoff...) :) Have a great day!

Hi Martha,
Sorry if it wasn't clear -- a week or two ago we started this new feature in Five Things about the "other" Chelmsford in England (and one time we did Ontario). So don't worry, you're not seeing things! Those are supposed to be pounds!

Gotcha, thanks! I wasn't aware of that feature.
