Five Things for Today in Chelmsford: Sept. 19

From Vinal Square to Kate's Corner, here are your Five Things for today in Chelmsford

 

#1. Chelmsford's State Representatives... recently hosted their Fourth Annual Chelmsford Senior Barbecue for the seniors of Chelmsford (pictured left to right: David Nangle, Cory Atkins, Thomas Golden and Jim Arciero).  

The event, held at the Chelmsford Senior Center, provide a barbecue of hamburgers and hot dogs to over 120 seniors.

Held each September, has become a tradition of the Chelmsford legislative delegation to celebrate the seniors of Chelmsford and to give them a day to interact with the individuals who represent them on Beacon Hill.   

Also in attendance were Chelmsford Town Manager Paul Cohen, Chelmsford Selectwoman Pat Wojtas and Chelmsford Politically Incorrect host Carmen Christiano, all of whom volunteered at the barbecue.

#2. The Chelmsford Mothers' Club... meets today on Old Westford Road.

#3. Later Tonight... they're having career night at Nashoba Tech.

#4. What's Up With the Chelmsford Culutral Council?: Find out in their latest "Out and About!"

#5. The Chelmsford Friends of the Library.. need volunteers on Thursday, Sept. 27 from 6-8 PM to help set up for the annual Friends of the Library Book Sale. More information is available on the Chelmsford library website.
