#1. Pictured: Chelmsford resident and BC High senior Colin Taylor recently received an Excellence Award in Physics. Congrats, Colin!

#2. Chelmsford Has Two New Police Officers: Officers Brian Ubele and Robert Brown graduated from the Twenty-Ninth Municipal MBTA Transit Police Academy on September 4, 2012.

Both officers are graduates of Chelmsford High School, and both received advanced degrees in criminal justice; Ubele from Western New England University and Brown from Springfield College.

The officers will work alongside field training officers for the next several weeks before being assigned to permanent shifts.
