#1. Half-Staff Notice: Please be advised that Governor Deval L. Patrick has ordered that the United States flag and the Commonwealth flag be lowered to half-staff at all state buildings from sunrise until sunset on Monday, September 10, 2012 in honor of U.S. Army Sgt. Tyrone A. Hines, of Boston who died September, 4, 2012.
#2. Pictured: Sadie, of the Sadie Awards, received a reply back late last week from Michelle Obama. Sadie's owner John Dowd wrote a letter on Sadie's behalf to Bo, the presidential dog.

To all my senior citizen friends, I hope you can stop by the Chelmsford Senior Center today(Monday, SEPT 10th) at around noontime for the free annual BBQ hosted by our State Representatives Jim Arciero and Tom Tipa Golden. I'll be there again this year... helping to serve the hot dogs, hamburgers, salad and cake. I hope to see you then! :-)
