4:42 a.m. - Police investigated a man banging on a door at a building on Boston Road. Another Boston Road banging case was reported at 5:41 a.m., but it was not specified if the two incidents were related.
1:48 p.m. - First responders were dispatched to Route 3 near Drum Hill Road for a motor vehicle accident.
Sunday, Jan. 6
Arrests
- Charlene Spaulding, 45, of 789 Chelmsford St. in Lowell was arrested on charges of alleged larceny of property over $250.

1:02 a.m. - Police called to Robert Bigelow Street to check out reports of a missing child.
1:10 p.m. - A patrolman was called in to break up a dispute between employees on Chelmsford Street.

Arrests
- Laury Som, 23, of 261 Barker Ave. in Lowell was arrested on charges of alleged larceny of property over $250 and assult with a deadly weapon.

3:06 a.m. - A suspicious motor vehicle was following a female on Brick Kiln Road.
5:26 p.m. - A dead cat was discovered in a garbage bag on Westford Street.
