Chelmsford Police Capture Loose Horse

The following are excerpts from the Chelmsford Police Log for the dates of Nov. 30 to Dec. 2

Arrests

Dec. 1

  • Alan Packer, 69, of 43 Walnut St. in Lowell was arrested on alleged operation of a motor vehicle under the influence of liquor.

Nov. 30

1:59 a.m. - Police reported in a dead cat found in the middle of North Road.

8:57 a.m. - A non-criminal investigation was begun regarding a canteen truck that was hit on Princeton Street.

4:50 p.m. - Police checked for what was described as a grey sedan "on the bad corner" of Richardson Road during a general parking sweep.

5:59 p.m. - Two adult female shoplifters were placed in custody at Kohl's.

7:30 p.m. - A pair of teenagers were described as acting suspiciously in a motor vehicle on Natalie Road.

10:00 p.m. - An alleged group of 20 teenagers cut through a series of yards on Washington Street.

Dec. 1

1:04 a.m. - Officers stopped a vehicle on Littleton Road for a traffic violation.

10:33 a.m. - A motor vehicle crash was investigated on Groton Road near Route 3.

7:56 p.m. - Two males were described as arguing on Chelmsford Street during an incident that allegedly included liquor.

Dec. 2

9:33 a.m. - A loose horse was captured on Kenwood Street.

11:10 p.m. - A resident on Riverneck Road was upset about a dog involved in a biting accident.
