Chelmsford Minutemen to Appear in Discovery Channel Production

The show will air sometime in the fall.

Members of the Chelmsford Minutemen are about to become even more famous.

Last week, the local minutemen participated in a Discovery Channel production with the 6th Middlesex Regiment of Militia. The set for the show was in Lexington, and Mike Rowe, of the TV show Dirty Jobs was on hand.

The minutemen participated in a re-enactment for a three-part series called "Booze in America," which will trace the importance of booze in shaping America's history.

Jim Curley of the Chelmsford Minutemen said Rowe took the time to meet them after shooting, shaking hands with everyone and thanking them for their patience on set.

Curley said the segments will air sometime in the fall.
