Brush Fire on Mill Road

The following are excerpts from the Chelmsford Fire Department log for the week of Nov. 25 to Dec. 1, 2012

 

 

Sunday, Nov. 25

9:07 a.m. - A brush fire was reported on Mill Road.

9:48 a.m. - Unauthorized burning was suspected on Ruthellen Road.

11:15 a.m. - Firefighters helped a home owner after reports of a faulty carbon dioxide detector were given.

2:38 p.m. - Fire alarms drew three firefighter units to an apartment complex on North Road, but no smoke or fire was found on the premises.

Tuesday, Nov. 27

3:51 p.m. - A truck driver was found unresponsive on 495 Northbound.

Thursday, Nov. 29

2:29 p.m. - One resident on Glen Avenue reported the smell of electricity, but no fire was discovered. 

Friday, Nov. 30

4:01 p.m. - A bicyclist was struck by a car near I-495 on Chelmsford Street.
