Approximately 200 Homes Remain Without Power in Chelmsford on Thursday Morning, Says National Grid
The release came following a trip to town by National Grid Massachusetts president Marcy Reed a day earlier.
In a statement issued by National Grid Massachusetts president Marcy Reed earlier this morning, approximately 200 residents, or 2 percent of all National Grid customers in Chelmsford, remain without power after Monday's storm.
In the release, Reed also indicated approximately 95 percent of the 237,000 customers that lost power throughout the Commonwealth during the storm have regained power.
National Grid has set a time of 11:59 p.m. on Friday night as a target for full restoration throughout the state. Nearby in Westford, restoration has moved at a similar pace, with 99 percent of those who have lost power regaining service as of this morning.
UPDATE: 3:55 p.m. - We've been told the number is down to 100 as of this afternoon, and that all customers are expected to have power back by midnight.

we got power back Wednesday night. Our complaint was the lack of info and the attitude of the "customer service" people at the outage line. Until Paul Cohen and his assistant, Trish, got involved, I don't think they reallly tried to work with us. We offered them info about our neighborhood and they didn't listen. Lack of communication was the biggest problem.
