From Vinal Square to Kate's Corner, here are your Five Things for today in Chelmsford.

 

#1. Pictured: The town website reports that this dog was found yesterday on Tyngsboro Road. If you recognize it, call the Animal Control Officer at 978-256-0754.

#2. Congrats to Dylan Freeman! - He was the only Chelmsford student to make the honor roll down at Austin Prep in Reading.

#3. Spring Election News: We're now up to two contested races this spring. Incumbent Nancy Araway will face Jeff Apostolakes for the associate planning board spot and Bob Joyce joins Roland Van Liew, Louis Marino and incumbent Matt Hanson in the race for the Board of Selectmen.

Joyce and Araway both signed up yesterday.


Candidates can get papers up until 5 p.m. on Feb. 8 and file them any time before 5 p.m. on Feb. 12. More information is available on the Town Clerk's page on the town website.

We'll give updates on new signups as they become available.
