5 Things for Today in Chelmsford: Dec. 18

From Vinal Square to Kate's Corner, here are your Five Things for today in Chelmsford.

#1. Newtown Vigils: In case you missed the event on Saturday, there's a separate candlelight vigil at St. Mary's on Wednesday on our event calendar.

#2. Speaking of the Event Calendar: If your event is located in Chelmsford and is happening once, or a very limited number times, please e-mail the editor at andrew.sylvia@patch.com with a link.

We'll do our best to feature your event on the events calendar, here on Five Things and occasionally on the front page.

You can also e-mail us your information directly, we will take anything, but please note that those who do it themselves get preference.

#3. Pictured: The Nashoba Valley Technical High School Chorus recently entertained residents of the Chelmsford Crossings assisted-living facility with selections from its annual Holiday Concert.

From left are Cortney Surprenant (sophomore, Townsend), Kirsten Pudsey (senior, Littleton), Jennifer Goulart (senior, Shirley) and Danielle Robinson (senior, Lowell).

#4. CHS Hockey... Is 2-0 following their 4-1 win over Andover on Saturday.

#5. Just a Reminder: The new town website will launch on Jan. 3
