I just wanted to let  you  know of a very special girl I know..

Isabelle Cole from Chelmsford….

Isabelle’s school has been involved in what is called “Project 300”  Which was started by Mr Sargent, a teacher at the school. (sargentj@chelmsford.k12.ma.us)

It is a project to collect as many non perishable foods that are then donated to the Salvation Army

Isabelle for the last two years has denied any Birthday gifts and Christmas gifts for herself and has instead,

Only asked for gift cards to Stop and Shop and Market Basket so that she may buy cans for this project.

She also has taken her red wagon around the neighborhood collection donations from her neighbors, who have

Been more that gracious in donations..  even as much as dropping donations off at the house in the evenings.

This morning Isabelle and myself delivered almost 500 cans of food to the McCarthy Middle School to Ms Chamberlains’ home room. (chamberlaink@chelmsford.k12.ma.us)

As we were delivering our items, many other children were also delivering items…  this is such a great project that I just

Wanted to make people away of it..  and the good it does during the Thanksgiving time of year to help the less fortunate people.
