MEC BECOMES DROP-OFF CENTER FOR TOYS FOR TOTS

PUBLIC ENCOURAGED TO DROP-OFF GIFTS

Chelmsford, MA- The Merrimack Education
Center (MEC) will become a drop-off center for Toys for Tots for the first time
this year.  The center’s new interim
management team, which took over in 2011, chose this charitable endeavor to
help the regional communities which MEC serves and give MEC employees, who
already participate in numerous charitable causes on their own, a way to
jointly contribute to a unified charity at work.

“Toys
for Tots is a perfect fit for MEC’s charitable mission,” said Antony Walker,
Interim Executive Director of MEC.  “We particularly
wanted something that would help the ultimate audience which MEC serves, and
that is the children of the Merrimack Valley.”

Donations
can be dropped off from mid-November to December 14 at the following locations:
