District Attorney Gerry Leone to Visit Chelmsford
Our District Attorney, Gerry Leone, has reached out and asked if he could visit our school and speak to our male students about the "White Ribbon Campaign, a worldwide effort to curtail one of the most pervasive societal ills — abuse of women." He will be speaking to our students on Thursday, May 31st in the P.A.C. from 8:50AM-9:50AM.
Joining him on stage will be our Superintendent, Dr. Frank Tiano, the Police Chief, James Murphy, and a supporting cast of positive male role models in our school including students, teachers, and coaches. I will call for all male students, grades 9-11, to report to the P.A.C. shortly before 8:50 so Gerry Leone can begin at the scheduled time. If you're interested in learning more about this presentation, Mr. Leone visited Nashoba Valley Technical High School last fall and here's a link to an article summarizing that event http://www.thegrotonline.com/2011/11/21/400-nashoba-tech-students-and-staff-make-white-ribbon-pledge/
