Three Chelmsford High School students rowed in the Head of the Charles Regatta this weekend, placing 19th out of 85 boats in the men's youth Varsity 8 race.  Daniel Levine, Austin Drake and Johnny Coddaire all row out of the Essex Rowing Club in Methuen along with teammates from Andover, Bradford and Boxford, Ma.  The 19th place finish secured them a spot in next years Regatta.  The boys train 6 days a week all year round and have races in the spring and fall on many weekends. Rowing is a great sport and the town of Chelmsford should be proud of what these boys have accomplished already and look forward to seeing what they do in the future.  This fall they took 1st place in The Head of the Merrimack Regatta and 3rd place in the Textile River Regatta.  Next week they travel to Saratoga, NY for the Head of the Fish Regatta.
