The Chelmsford Garden Club has a scholarship available for any student graduating from Chelmsford High School or Nashoba Valley Regional Technical School.  The requirement for the fields of study is that the student be enrolled in Environmental Studies, Landscape Design, Earth Sciences, Forestry or Water Shed Protection, Agriculture, Arboriculture, Horticulture, Animal Science, Wildlife Biology, Oceanography or another related field.  The amount of the grant is $1000.  The Club would like to award  the scholarship to a graduating high school senior but if no one is available in that category then a second, third or fourth year college student who is involved in one of the listed studies may apply.  If you are qualified for the scholarship, please contact Mrs. Ruth Coughlin, Scholarship Chairman at 5 Fairbanks Rd., Chelmsford, MA or call 978-256-6231.
